Welcome to Ginga Nation. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Ginga Nation platform, including the website ginganation.com, group microsites, the public platform roda.ginganation.com, the organizer dashboard hub.ginganation.com, and the GN mobile app (together, the “Platform”).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who we are
Ginga Nation is a digital ecosystem for the capoeira community that helps manage groups, capoeiristas, events, and public websites. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us”, or “Ginga Nation” refers to the operator of the Platform.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- To create an account you must be of legal age in your country, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. Accounts for minors are managed by a responsible adult.
- Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Roles and groups
The Platform organizes users through groups (academies, units, and their hierarchy) and roles (owner, admin, staff, and member). Permissions depend on your role within each group. Access to a group’s information and its members is limited to authorized people within that group.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Platform you agree not to:
- Post unlawful, offensive, defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Impersonate another person or group.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
- Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Interfere with the operation of the Platform or circumvent its security measures.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the content you post (text, images, your group or profile data). You grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the Platform. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you post.
6. Payments
Some services (memberships, events, registrations) may involve payments. Payments are processed through third-party providers, primarily Stripe. Ginga Nation does not store your full card details. Refund conditions depend on each organizing group and the event or service purchased.
7. Intellectual property
The Ginga Nation brand, logo, design, and software are owned by Ginga Nation and protected by applicable laws. No rights to them are granted other than the normal use of the Platform.
8. Privacy
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account and data on the Delete account & data page.
9. Availability and changes
The Platform is provided “as is”. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of relevant changes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ginga Nation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will publish the current version on this page and indicate the date of the last update. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico.
